Durham Cassiodorus - 8th century

The next tune is from the 8th century, making the oldest notated piece of English music. It's in a book called the Durham Cassiodorus, a religious text, which for some fortunate reason was written in a music school. Fortunate because at sometime a musician at the school scribbled a melody at the bottom of one of the pages.

Below, on the left the original scribble, and on the right, my interpretation of it, adapted to play on a Hearpe.
